The CJ750 motorcycle is a collectable 750cc sidecar motorcycle of vintage
design, based on the 1938 BMW R71. These motorcycles are rebuilt from the
frame up, so you are basically buying a new vehicle, FULLY ASSEMBLED IN
THE USA. The
CJ750 was manufactured from the original WWII era BMW R71 tooling, removed
from German factories after the war and used to manufacture Russian
military motorcycles. In the 1950s, the factory equipment was acquired by
the Chinese army to make military motorcycles for the next 40 years,
similar to the concept of the AK-47 made by many different nations. This Motorcycle was purchased in a kit form and assembled in the USA entirely, never yet being licensed or used on a highway. We have all the records to go along with the assembly and purchase of the motorcycle generously donated to Christian Sport Camp, so that the proceeds could be used to fund our programs. Come join the fun when we auction the motorcycle, Thursday, July 10, 2008 at 10:00pm. You do not need to be present to win. Should we be unable to sell 1,000 tickets at $10.00 a ticket, a 50/50 raffle will take place. The winning ticket will be selected with 50 % of the proceeds on record being awarded.
